About Me

 

Hi! My name is Chenwei Zhou, and I go by "Cherry". I was born and raised in Shanghai, China. I came to the U.S. when I was 18, and got my bachelor's degree in computer science at University of Washington.

During my time at UW, I had the honor to join the Animation Capstone program and found that I was more interested in animation than coding. So after working at Amazon as a software engineer for a year, I moved to Georgia to study animation at Savannah College of Art and Design. I had experiences in 4 student films and interned in a 3D TV series when I studied at SCAD, and found my true passion and talent in production management.

In Nov 2020, I graduated from SCAD with an MFA degree in animation. I'm now actively looking for a production job in the animation/VFX/ games field.
